    So, is the webshop really free?
    YES. There are no fees, no setup charges. Neither for the software, nor for the hosting services.
    What can I sell in it?
    It it no secret that our webshops are designed for artists and labels to sell merchandise, especially music-related items. However, we also provide the services to other industries and brands.
    What is included in the scope of this service?
    It is a fully managed service, in which we take care of all operations related to your on-line sales:
    – setting up and maintaining a webstore
    – adding, updating, deleting products
    – processing on-line payments
    – stock management
    – warehousing
    – packing & shipping
    – billing & invoicing
    – returns management
    Can I manage this webshop on my own?
    No. It is a fully managed service from our team, so all operations and management are handled by us. Obviously, you get all sales reports.
    Do you ship orders worldwide?
    Of course. We ship to all destinations using priority postal service and UPS courier service. If you would like to exclude any territories, that is not a problem.
    Can you also dropship my goods?
    Yes. You can order us to ship in bulk to your distributors, venus, artists or any other location, using both standard and express shipment methods. Depending on the size of a shipment, we can ship in packages or on palettes. We can also provide direct mailing – for example, mailout of promotional copies to magazines, radio stations, etc.
    How much do you charge for it?
    The software part is free, so we charge nothing for your webstore.
    We charge for the warehousing of your goods: 0.01 EUR per each unsold item at the end of each month. Example: there are 45 CDs left in our warehouse on the last day of a month, so it costs you 45 x 0.01 EUR = 0.45 EUR.
    The second charge is connected with the fulfillment of orders placed in your webstore. Our cut is 20% of the net value of each fulfilled order. Example: the retail price of your item is 12 EUR, which is 9.76 EUR minus VAT tax. We take 20% out of 9.76 EUR, which is 1.95 EUR. The remaining 7.81 EUR is yours.
    The important thing is that this 20% fee covers all costs and services and include on-line payment fee, customer billing and invoice issuance, packing and handling as well as customer service.
    How do I get paid?
    Until 15th of each month, you receive detailed account statement, which features all sales data from the previous month. Based on it, we make the payment to you via bank transfer or PayPal.
    Can I sell only the stuff manufactured by 8Merch?
    No. You can ship to us any kind of stuff manufactured elsewhere, too.
    However, please note that we can manufacture your merch items, compact discs, vinyl records and many other products, which saves you time and money, because they are already stored in our warehouse, from which we ship orders to your customers.
    Moreover, for clients who use both our manufacturing and fulfillment services, we have special deals and discounts applicable to both these services. Just get in touch with us for more details.
    How can I cancel the service?
    You can cancel it anytime. You will just need to cover the costs of shipment of the remaining goods back to you.
